Bath – if you experience acne on other parts of your body than the face, a bath might be your solution to cure it. Fill the tub with hot water and pour 10 drops of tea tree oil in it. Use your hands to blend it well and then relax in the bathtub for about 15 minutes. Repeat regularly.
Diluted tea tree oil – mix 1 part tea tree oil with 9 parts water and use a cotton ball to apply on the acne. Leave it on for up to 25 minutes before washing with cold water. Finish off with a good moisturizer and repeat the treatment twice a day.
Steam – prepare an infusion by boiling a large bowl of water. Add 4 or 5 drops of tea tree oil and then place your face on it. For better results cover your head with a towel and stay there for 5 minutes. Repeat until you get the result you want.
To reduce swelling and redness – grab a cotton pad and pour a few drops of tea tree oil on it and then apply on the affected region. Allow it to act for 4 hours or overnight. Repeat the process regularly.
With Aloe Vera – due to its anti-inflammatory properties, aloe Vera makes a great treatment against acne. Just take 3 tsp. gel and add some tea tree oil drops and then apply on the acne. Allow it to act for 3 to 4 hours before rinsing. Repeat the process.
With clay powder – prepare a facial mask out of 2 tbsp. green clay powder, 3 or 4 drops of tea tree oil and water until you get a pasty composition. Apply it as you would with any face mask and let it sit for half an hour or until it’s dry. Rinse and repeat regularly.
With coconut oil – first of all make sure your face is cleaned up. Then take a warm piece of cloth and apply on the face to open the pores. Keep it on until it gets cold. Take 9 tsp. coconut oil and mix them well with 1 tsp. tea tree oil.
Apply through a circular massage and rinse after 5 minutes (use cold water). Repeat twice a day.
With egg white – take an egg white and whisk it with 3 or 4 drops of tea tree oil. Apply the mixture on the face and leave it on for about 20 minutes before rinsing with lukewarm water. Repeat as frequently as possible.
With honey – mix 2 tsp. honey with a few drops of oil. Apply with a cotton pad on the (washed) infected area and allow it to act overnight before rinsing. Use a moisturizer and repeat the procedure.
With honey and yogurt – take 1 tbsp. honey, 1 tbsp. yogurt and mix them with 2 or 3 drops of tea tree oil. Apply the paste on the acne. Repeat regularly.
With yogurt – wash your face and then wipe it with a clean towel. In a bowl mix ¼ cup of yogurt with 5 drops of tea tree oil and apply the mixture on the face. Keep it on for about 20 minutes and then rinse. Repeat on a regular basis.
